This website was created in 2025 by artist Violet Forest for the ｄｏｏｍｓｃｒｏｌｌｉｎｇ group collection that brings together artists that draw from — or belong to — a range of internet-related art movements. They reflect on on our compulsive online consumption and the broader condition of oversaturation that defines contemporary life.
All these artists are part of a larger project, doomscrolling>>>, which will be presented on November 8, 2025 in an Internet Café in Berlin as part of Browser Views, a side event of Art on Tezos in Berlin, and on December 05, 2025 at the Centre Culturel Wallonie Bruxelles in Paris during the Biennale Némo. It will also be permanently in the website of the Fine Arts Museum of Le Locle (Switzerland).
doomscrolling>>>, curated by Kika Nicolela and commissioned by the Fine Arts Museum of Le Locle for their digital platform ORBIT_E , is an interactive webpage conceived and developed by Canek Zapata (MX), that endlessly generates real-time digital collages as visitors scroll down. The project is built upon a living, expandable database of works minted on objkt from 28 selected artists.
